The passes of the French Alps are an integral part of the history of roadbiking. The Tour goes there every year, sometimes even the Giro visits. There are few iconic places in Europe, or perhaps even in the world, where so many famous and infamous passes can be found in such a small place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bonette, Izoard, Alpe d’Huez, Galibier and more iconic passes.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the way we will pass through the southern part of the French Alps. Briancon, the area around Barcelonette with the Galibier and several other passes. The plan is five cycling days with one day off.<\/span><\/p>\n

Travel<\/h2>\n

The journey out to the location and home is done by a minibus. The transportation at the location is also by a minibus. Individual travel is also possible.<\/p>\n
